Was talking with owner of a kirana shop near my hotel. Asked how many packs of condom he sells every day?
He said, on an average 25. I asked this time selling most, as pick season? he said no in December.
I asked, reason many newly wed couples come here for honeymoon that time? and he said yes.
Some come here for marriage, some after marriage and some though married but to kill boredom.
When I came here, late evening, day before yesterday, auto ricksaw driver asked me I want any girl or not? I said fuck off.
This morning I was having breakfast, 1 family sat next to me, their daughter was doing everything I was even went to wash hand when I supposed to, though I ignored.
Puri, for some a place to worship, for some gate way to heaven and for some to start a new life or reboot.
For me a place near sea, cheap and good food and acco, air full of oxygen and near Bhubaneswar. My next destination for work.

How people change?

Last time when came to USA, was my first. Wanted to see many places, wanted to do many things. More like a traveler.
This time more like a business man, some how want to get some business in USA, that can breakeven, cover travel expenses, atleast.
Last time had bit of revenue visibility, this time able to meet many people, though not many potential clients but can get some, that only can hope.
USA is a big market, competition cut throat, whole world after this market, reaching to the right person easy but meeting or getting some business not that.
Can incorporate a company anytime, open bank account, then what? Till some revenue visibility there.
Last time tweeted visit castle clinton, serendipity store again, but not felt like, dont think visit this time, or in near future. Though visit USA many more times in near future.
Always will be challenges, more constraints make me perfect and help me and my company to grow more.

One girl become my wife

S'day attended some networking events. Got some good leads, some wants to become partner.
In the evening went to one networking event come party, met some people, 2 girls wanted to spend more time after drinking red wine.
But not felt like, seems 1 girl was saying, hey, what the fuck doing, go to hotel, have dinner and sleep instead of those 2 bitches.
Seems that girl loves me from bottom of her heart, and will marry me after some time. Its weird but true.
When I went to Washington DC, felt like that girl watching me from somewhere.

USA-May-2017

Whatever my company doing, can do in North America also, and solve some problems here.
Reason want to scale up my company in USA. I dont believe in hub and spoke model, but a structure like Ixora flower, decentralized.
Thanks to new immigration/security policies of USA, had to travel without my laptop in my cabin bag, so not able to update my travel blog. At Cairo airport, only for 30 minutes used free wifi.
Last time when I came here, contacted many for meeting to provide our services. Got response from some, met senior management team of one company in Detroit, last quarter that company made USD 2.5 bn profit from its North American operations only.
This time meet some Universities for collaboration for our professional certification programs.
Meet some economic development agencies for our "Build a Company, Build a Nation" initiative.
Meet some big talent management agencies for our ixoraent.in initiative.
Meet some companies for supply chain management, analytics etc
And attend as many events as possible.
Stay in Queens, now staying near Queens Plaza subway station, not crowded like Jersey City, nearest super market 20 minutes from my hotel.

Bahrain: Little Oasis

I liked this little oasis. Not mind spending 15-20 days here every year, have a small team.
Food not bad, Indians as usual, in USA or any other country, same characteristics. Not wonder if I find same thing in Somalia also.
People in Bahrain, local people, trying to do something constructive, its solar power or reclaiming land and building monuments, like Dutch, learned to survive in harsh conditions.
Local people nice, clean heart like me, I love to work with more local people. More work, more interact more local people become my friend here, and possible business partner.
When conducted feasibility study for one university based in Riffa to start a technology business incubator, then learned a lot about this country. This country not different from what I knew, after feasibility study.
Thanks to my visit, able to interact with many people with whom interacted before, talked over phone, exchanged emails or had skype calls.
All wanted to meet me, its senior officials of different government agencies like Tamkeen, or some ministries or owner of different Universities. Also, finally, able to interact with some senior persons of Supreme Council for Women. Soon visit Bahrain, here continue working with those working, also start new initiatives soon.
Possible visit Bahrain again in coming June.
Got a big suite from my host, owner of a University. Saw F1 track, people even from East Germany, here to watch F1 race, ticket price USD 360 for 3 days. Camel firm, every where date trees. Different shaped water tank to lower evaporation. Love this country, little oasis.

Sort of serendipitous stuff

Finally visiting Bahrain. Supposed to visit last September, had big expectation, wanted to sign contract with one University there to manage its technology business incubator and for that have 5 members team.
Though finally able to sign contract with that University in December and helped to conduct feasibility study and prepare business plan for business incubator, but not able to visit that country.
As of now working with 4 Universities in Bahrain, helping to start technology business incubator or scale up existing business incubator start with pre-incubation services.
Last year started "Build a Company, Build a Nation" initiative. Conducted marketing research, whole Africa, then Zeroed on Nigeria, wanted to start an accelerator there. Then decided to start with consulting for technology business incubation, as sourcing startups for an accelerator, in a country like Nigeria, not that easy and all start ups there lack some basic things.
So started pitching to all Universities and polytechnics in Nigeria, help to start technology business incubator or help to scale up. 2 University wanted to take our help. Then pitched to institutes in Ghana, and so in more than 90 developing countries in Asia and Africa.
1st earned money in India, helped one University to prepare business plan to start a technology business incubator, 8 months back. Now working with more than 130 engineering colleges and universities in India, helping to start technology business incubator or scale up and providing pre-incubation services. Also help to start accelerator and fund. Doing same with more than 50 Universities in more than 40 developing countries in Asia and Africa.
Couple of weeks back owner of a University in Bahrain called me, earlier wanted to take our help. Signed contract and sent me air ticket and visa. Finally going to Bahrain, small country, only constraints but King and people of that country want to make their country like Israel. Some way we also able to help them, their economy's strategic diversification through technology business incubator or accelerator or fund.
Couple of days back signed contract with One University in Somalia, there also able to do many things, civil war destroyed that country and especially its capital Mogadishu, once known as White pearl of the Indian Ocean.
And Bahrain is famous for its pearls. Sort of serendipitous stuff.

Jaipur Diaries-1

For fort, palaces? For pink colored buildings? visit Jaipur?No!
For food?for street food?yes!visit Jaipur to taste all mouth watering street foods- patasi, kota kachori, dal pakoda, papad etc and then drink milk with extra cream!
Working with one University near Jaipur, helping to start a business incubator. Last weekend went to Jaipur, after one meeting with a University in Jaipur, had time, walked around inside of Pink City, old Jaipur, where all buildings are pink colored, though found couple of new houses different colored, driver of auto rickshaw said owner of those houses had to/have to pay fine.
City palace, hawa mahal etc not that attracted me much but street foods there. Cheap and best, mouth watering!

Pain and Hope

Was traveling in a A subway train to Howard beach, met 1 homeless guy, wearing mini skirt, big ear and nose ring, face full of tattoos! Asked him whats his name and he said Serendon! Studied philosophy, transgender, last 10 years homeless, next month join a nursing school that he thinks help him to get job and a shelter. He said people gives him weed, drugs. He on an average earns USD 30 every day. I was saying to him to change his slogan "Kindness is good, homelessness not a crime" to "Today is cold and I dont have a shelter". I gave 1 address to him where can share acco with 2 other transgenders like him. He was asking USD 5 from me.
Diana
Met this German lookalike Russian girl in Howard beach bound train. An architect from Moscow, 2nd time in USA, wants to settle down in USA to get better job. I was pitching her to lookout for a job in any developing country where many new construction projects need more Architects. I asked her whats her name and she said Diana. I said to her Princess Diana and she became more friendly to me.

Was waiting in a long queue for check in at JFK airport. Yesterday many flight cancelled due to snow storm so 100s of people waiting for check in. I heard 1 guy saying I love you to 1 girl, wearing green polo shirt and then that girl said Love you too to that guy. That girl said she is form Germany, visited Goa and Sri Lanka, some time back. When was in Goa people used to call her Karina Kapoor. Flight delayed, was waiting, again met that girl. She was saying working as a teacher in a school in Stuttgart, studied Russian and German language, did PHD in a University in California and lived there for 8 years, got married last year and husband teaching in a school in USA. A veggie, not enjoying her married life, a 35 years old Virgo, want a romantic guy, loves public display of affection and not enjoying long distance skype interaction with her husband. She said divorce is not that easy. Her father Russian and mother German, separated when she was 9. She watched and loves Pretty Woman. Loves watching all good movies.

What I wanted to get and what I got?

Wanted to watch many movies, wanted to drink wine whole day, wanted to travel like crazy, wanted to meet many people, wanted to ice skate whole day, wanted to ski, wanted to attend technology show in las vegas.
But finally got better than what was expecting.
Got fast internet connection, so whole day and night sent email to many companies for meeting and collaboration. Was exhausted so not able to travel like crazy or drink wine whole day or ice skate.
Able to get attention from many fortune 500 companies, hedge funds, QSR chains, PE funds etc
Even had meeting in Detroit, better than what expected.
Went to Serendipity 3, took snap of big bull of wall street, saw people skating at rock fellar centre, had $ 1 pizza, cooked and had all best possible veg foods, spent some time with homeless people, attended event of 1 NGO and walked whole New York like a crazy!from Time Square to Harlem to China Town to Little Italy. Walked in and on snow, made snow man and worked!Soon want to incorporate a company in USA. Want to solve some problems, address to key issues and support sustainable growth of some key sectors in USA with having positive long term impact on people living there.
The day I reached NYC, weather was awesome, seems NYC only was waiting for me. I born to do something good for the big apple!

Last day of 2016 in Manhattan

Crowd, every where only police(yes) trying their best to control crowd, every where barricade(where freedom?). All people bought ticket for different Broadway show, most of them booked table in different restaurant or pub, attend private party, and those people only allowed to go where they want to go, of course only to their planned destination.
And freezing cold, many people saying, Oh!Jesus, too cold!
Walked, dont know how many times, from down town to 59th street and came back.
Walking, watching people and dont know why thinking about 1 girl, more walking and was more thinking about that girl.
This thing happening first time in my life.
Wanted to go to Atlantic City but not felt like going there.
Wanted to stay at Times Square till midnight, but not felt like.
So back to work!

Again fall in love with same girl

2 years back was waiting to join one company. Certainly dont know why twitted to 1 girl, wish that girl donate all her money or I have to earn more money.
Went to Thailand, met and traveled with couple of girls but not liked their company though not thought about that girl.
Finally not joined that company and started my company.
Dont know why only thinking about that girl, working and thinking about that girl.
Last week when went to Serendipity 3 then also only was thinking about her.
Means I actually fall in love with that girl, again. I love to meet that girl.
After heavy dinner went for walk, saw some egyptian shop, selling egyptian bread and stuffs. Soon visit that country. When was walking thinking about that girl.
Its weird but true!
Last 2 years, many times fall in love with that girl and so will be in future, every day!

Serendipity 3

Its a ice cream parlor/sweet shop/where Sara Thomas and Jonathan Trigger had ice cream?Located near Bloomingdale, where 2 protagonists of the movie serendipity wanted to buy same pair of black gloves.
Well walked from Path 33 station, through time square, through crowd, by passing Hershey's Chocolate World where got 1 free chocolate bar. After reaching 60 st junction forgot where exactly Serendipity 3 located, yesterday posted location of it in twitter but not able to connect to net. East or West?Number of the store?
Thanks to 1 guy met at Starbucks got exact address of that store, he said Bloomingdale store near that shop and many departmental store, he said have to walk 20 minutes from junction of 60 street, from west side to east.
Walked, asked many, by passing 1 big park, crowded shopping street, overpriced stalls selling spices and souvenirs and finally saw that famous shopping mall where Jonathan and Sara both wanted to buy same pair of gloves on xmas eve.
Knew my destination near, other side of street saw 226, turned back and saw a grocery store, numbered 225, named Serendipity 3!entered inside and found full of people, a grocery store selling souvenirs, drinks and inside of that store a small restaurant, in 1 corner saw poster of Serendipity, Sara and Jonathan together.

When I went to wall street

I only wanted to work in wall street. Wanted to work on multi billion dollar equity transactions.
6-7 years back every night my only job was to apply to different boutique i-banks having office in Wall Street for job of analyst or associate.
Some wanted to take me for India/south east asia.
Then some stupid people to save their own career started doing craps, then my 1st priority became paying back study loan and for that having steady inflow of cash in India than finding out a job in USA.
Later those stupid people when found they not have any work then their stupidity increased.
But no one can change destiny. I started company 1 year back, though stupidity of those people not stopped but as now running my company so have freedom to do whatever I want. Now doing many things with which can penetrate USA market- its advanced analytics or process consulting and directly can work with any i-bank or any financial services company in USA.
So when started getting some business in India and in some developing countries thought lets explore USA.
Before that pitched to some companies, funds in USA for different transactions, interacted with CXO level people.
The day reached New York, sky was clear, weather good, seems the big apple was waiting for me and welcomed me with its open arms.
Yesterday went to Wall street, another bull landed, another bull met the bull of wall street.

Freezing outside

Its freezing outside!-2 *C in Munich!had to wear cap, muffler and jacket, after an eon using.
Met 1 nice girl at plane. From Florence, Italy, working as a nurse in a small town near Florence/Pisa. From a small village near Florence, she said not many knows name of her village. 6 years back, when was in class 11, went to Ahmadabad, stayed there with a Gujarati family, learned Gujarati and studied 1 year in a local school.
Again went to Ahmadabad to attend marriage ceremony of 1 girl of the same family, stayed there, this time for 2 weeks.
Was hungry, had veg food, wanted to watch 1 Ice age movie, but fall asleep. Woke up thanks to alarm clock of my smart phone, found still 2.3 hours from Munich. Watched 1 not so bad movie, Prince of Persia.
Again had veg breakfast, air hostess gave me 1st Hindu breakfast, found omelet and kebab, I asked her to give me veg breakfast and finally got Meduwada and upma.
Said her Bunoa Festa and she said Buon Appetito!
Pilot announced its -2*C outside. Had to wear all warm clothes. Instead of United Airlines, again fly in a Lufthansa flight from Munich to New York.

Want to sleep bit

Bit tired, continuously working last 11 months, wanted to achieve many things, gave 101% but not achieved much.
11 months back main focus was earning some money for company, people joining and then leaving in no time, had to interact with many not so competent impatient people.
Submitted many SOWs, but not able to sign contract. Thats a fucking frustrating period. Now everything not changed much, but submitting more proposals now and signing a few contracts. And even some in out side of India.
Want to sign more long term big contracts that can take some people, full time employees.
Good thing, got helped from some seniors,  considered to turnaround some companies. Considering to collaborate/form JV and do something together.
Slowly but steadily all initiatives going at right direction, still on track. Soon all initiaitives will have some full time employees, help to create some IPs.
And finally going to USA. Wanted to visit last year, wanted to start getting business from January 2016 onward. Not yet able to get ISO. Hope by end of H1 of next FY get.
Last year tweeted next xmas I'll be in NYC and will be finally.
My growth, my company's growth, my future, my family's future (finally fall in love with a punj girl, when 1st time I saw snap of that girl, thought this girl can become my best friend, found she is like me and she loves me. So done! Not want any other girl, moody, greedy, weird, selfish, psycho but she loves me. All negative things can ignore!) everything depends on how much able to penetrate USA and how soon!

Have plan to start a chain of cheap dorm hostel for backpackers, lets see what can do.

Hong Kong Diaries-Eating, Living, Walking Hong Kong

Had 6 hours, no1 was there at transfer desk, ran to immigration, convinced others so not had to wait in the queue, got 14 days visa, ran to nearest money changer (7.20 H$ for 1 USD), ran and again convinced others so not had to wait in the queue to buy same day return ticket for airport metro, from Airport to Hong Kong Central and back (H$ 100). Took 24 minutes, from Airport to Hong Kong central.
At Hong Central, only big malls, e.g., IFC mall, skyscrapers, store of all well known fashion houses, office of all big banks.

Saw poor people begging, commuters running to catch city bus, cobbler polishing boot of some banker, some smart girls trying to make money by selling some fake products.
Was hungry, saw 1 restaurant in a narrow lane, ate there with local people, egg noodle (soup noodle and fried egg) with grilled chicken (H$ 29) and lemon juice (H$3). Mixed black pepper sauce, vinegar, chili sauce and soya sauce with soup noodle. Taste was awesome, though weather was cold but after my lunch I was sweating.

Walked around, wanted to meet some companies there, not had time and also not had any confirmed meeting.
Walked around, talked with some local people, read 1 article in a local English news paper, got free, more than 233 mn people have renounced Chinese Communist party in China.
Hong Kong is a big sea port.
Next time will stay couple of days and try to meet as many company as possible, hope get some clients and partners here also.
Hope visit Hong Kong soon and from here Shanghai, Beijing and Guanzhou.
